It’s a wrap! From June 8-10, 2023, the 13th History of Education Doctoral Summer School took place at Schloss Au. For this special occasion, 25 doctoral students and 12 critical friends (tutors and convenors) came from a total of 17 (!) countries.

For three days, participants shared constructively and extensively on a variety of projects covering aspects of the history of educational spaces and discourses, as well as new ways of working with images, artifacts, and archives. In this way, they were able not only to enrich each other with new knowledge and insights, but also to contribute to the creation of a global network that promotes understanding and dialogue for the history of education in different cultures and continents.
